Giesen Single Vineyard Fuder Clayvin Chardonnay 2014 (Marlborough)
A cooler, understated style which is travelling very well. The palate has a delicate structure and purity of texture. Subdued in fruit intensity, however the wine has benefited from bottle age. Nutty custard notes with a mix of citrus and stone fruits and baking spices from the oak maturation.
