Kirrihill Regional Range Shiraz 2014
Kirrihill’s Clare Valley wines have impressed the Cuisine panel before, and this 2014 edition continues the fine form.
It smells like a juicy summer pudding of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, with a good level of fruit ripeness, yet it’s not jammy or overdone. There’s a savoury touch of spice, too. In the mouth, lovely fruit intensity and weight lead through a soft finish. A bargain.
