Squawking Magpie SQM Blanc de Blancs NV

A skilfully made chardonnay-based wine that confirms Hawke’s Bay’s sparkling wine cred. Plenty of bready yeastiness introduces it, citrus fruit is at the core of things, and well-handled liqueuring fills the gaps. It’s round and full in the mouth with good length and satisfying balance.
