Setting
This feels like the sort of place you want to linger for some time. The spacious grounds, including a cute pond, are impeccably groomed with a backdrop of the Waimauku vineyard. The owners, Susan and Anthony Ivicevich, relocated to this gorgeous site 15 years ago.
Things To Know
They sell a selection of deli items to graze on, but you can also bring a picnic and make the most of the expansive space overlooking the vines and shaded by established trees. Or, if the weather’s not on your side, sit on the pleasant covered veranda.
Our Picks
Chardonnay is the standout variety here. Both Barrique Fermented (Marlborough) and Waimauku Chardonnays exhibit plenty of fruit intensity and generous texture together with oak influence.
