Deen De Bortoli Vat 8 Shiraz 2015 (Heathcote, Vic.)

A tribute to the man who steered this family-owned winery into the modern era, this seductive wine is in the traditional mould. Black fruit, molasses and licorice notes, along with a liberal dose of vanillin oak, all figure in what is a gently textured expression. It’s a very drinkable, classic style of shiraz.  (C)
