Vavasour Pinot Noir 2012
This label from the Foley Family Wines stable has been a quiet achiever with pinot over recent vintages. A lighter style, which you’d expect given its Awatere Valley origins, it has plenty of verve and juicy acidity. Herbs and spice mingle with red fruit flavours. A good choice as an aperitif pinot.
