Roederer Estate Anderson Valley Brut NV
Champagne house Louis Roederer established its Californian outpost in 1982 near Mendocino, north of San Francisco. Wine quality is impressive. The Brut non-vintage is a rich and complete style with orchard-fruit characters dovetailed into sourdough bready secondary characters to give a slightly white Burgundyish quality. Toasty and fine, it offers very long flavour with a firm backbone.
