Col de’Salici Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore 2012
Prosecco is often an uncomplicated quaffing type of bubbly, but this example of the famous Italian wine has more to it. Green apple, citrus, marzipan and flinty notes meet the nose, and it’s richer and more evolved than most Prosecco in the mouth, finishing with zip and a sustained, savoury aftertaste.
