Still surprisingly youthful, this is a subtle sparkling wine of high quality. It doesn’t shout its credentials at you, rather it grows character in the glass. Herby aromas, citrus and appley fruit, a hint of matchstick, and chalky notes mark the nose. The palate is superfine and stylish with rice-papery texture. Outstanding length and spine.
