J. Lassalle Préférence Premier Cru Brut NV
Established by Jules Lassalle in 1942, this Champagne house is another of the currently fashionable crop of small quality producers. It’s a mature style with at least four years’ age, soft and creamy yet very delicate. Subtle bottle ferment complexity doesn’t dominate and gentle fruit intensity carries a long, rice-papery finish.
