Sieur d’Arques Première Bulle Brut 2011
Blanquette de Limoux, from Languedoc in France’s south-west, is a popular sparkling wine in its home market. Made predominantly from mauzac grapes, it smells of citrus fruits, minerals, nutty and meaty notes. There’s good concentration in the mouth, with a toasty thread of complexity and a firm, dry backbone.
