Villa Maria Cellar Selection Marlborough Chardonnay 2016

Grown at various sites, mostly in the Wairau Valley, this presents quite a different style to its Hawke’s Bay cousin (above). It’s a fresher, more pristine expression, quite floral and limey in character, displaying real energy. It would make an excellent aperitif.
