Neck Of The Woods Orange Pinot Gris 2019 (Central Otago)
An example of a pinot gris with the influence of skin fermentation. It’s a tricky one to pull off but when it works, it works well and in this case, it works. An orange-brick colour with aromas of dried pear and pear-drop lollies. The palate shows off whole bunch characteristics with plenty of punch here at the finish. The winemaker has a lot to be proud of.
