Bollinger La Grande Année Rosé Brut 2004
A big rosé Champagne, perhaps more in tune with Bollinger tradition than its non-vintage rosé sibling. The very complex nose combines strawberry, sweet spice, patisserie and berry-muffin aromas with meaty richness and nutty dabs of old oak. Excellent use of liqueuring enhances its superb balance and a feel of mellow aged complexity flows from the first sniff to the last tang.
