Always the innovator, John Forrest was one of the first to bring out a serious blended white. This wine’s make-up changes with the vintage, with this latest edition containing six varieties, including a prominent barrel-fermented chenin blanc component. Pale gold in the glass, it offers toasty lanolin scents, and a layered, complex mouthful, propelled by lively acidity.
