Nautilus Estate Vintage Rosé 2012

Made entirely from pinot noir, this coppery pink sparkling wine has a nose of strawberry shortcake, yeasty notes, and a whisper of complexing sulphide that enhances its “serious” feel. Panel chair John Belsham summed it up as “vibrant and expressive.” Dry, long and classy, it makes a perfect companion to sugar-cured salmon.
