Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut NV
Perrier-Jouët is best known for its famous Belle Epoque Champagne, but the house’s other cuvees also deserve attention. Grand Brut, the “standard” wine, is a velvety drop with excellent balance of citrus/herb, vanilla cream and bready, yeasty characters. The flavour is beautifully sustained with a lingering sherbetty aftertaste. (K)
