Selaks Reserve Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay 2013
Another fine buy from a fine vintage, this wine represents yet another stylistic gear change. Biscuit, cedary spice, grapefruit and white-peach flavours come through in what is a rich, textural treat. There’s plenty of oak in the mix, but enough fruit intensity to handle it.
