Taylors Jaraman Shiraz
South Australia’s Clare Valley is a bit of a sleepy hollow compared to the bustling Barossa, but its shiraz is noteworthy either on its own or as part of a blend. This blend of Clare and McLaren Vale shiraz is a substantial representative of the type with blackberry, caramel and high-toned vanillin oak aromas, and a full, ripe, oaky palate of good length and tannin balance. Should develop well in the bottle.
