The lion’s share (71%) of this wine’s fruit was grown in the Awatere Valley, and it shows. This is a racy, energetic expression with lifted florals and juicy, spicy fruit offering red and dark cherry and herbal notes. The acidity and fine tannins provide definition and liveliness. A good lunchtime pinot.
