“Holly’ is the top pinot made by this estate, which is situated on the Eketahuna Road near Masterton. The nose is immediately seductive – Black Forest cake, black cherry, a whisper of oak. In the mouth it is a bold melange of complex fruit flavours, oak spice and big edgy tannins. “Well made”, noted Jo Gear.
