Bird in Hand Two in the Bush Shiraz 2016 (Adelaide Hills, SA)
This wine is made using fruit from a range of sites across the relatively cooler Adelaide Hills region. It’s an exuberant style. Clove-like scents lead to a mouthful of warm dark fruit laced with a herbal thread. The fruit travels the length of the palate, supported by firm tannins. It’s still tight and needs a little more time to open up. (G)
