Grant Burge Barossa Miamba Shiraz 2016

Grant Burge acquired and replanted the old Miamba vineyard site in 1983. The results since then have been impressive. This wine is typical of the southern Barossa site: bursting with blueberry and blackberry flavours that are framed by robust (‘bolshy’ according to John Saker) tannins. Put it to work with a shepherd’s pie.  (C)
