Bird Big Barrel Marlborough Pinot Noir 2012

Great line and length (but no movement in the air) are features of this wine from the experienced Steve Bird. Bright violet scents usher in a bright, concentrated palate showing some attractive earthy complexity. Have it with beef bourguignon.
