Chapel Hill McLaren Vale Shiraz 2015

There’s a lot to like about this extroverted wine. It’s big, ripe and intense, with a torrent of red and dark fruit flavours that wash over the tastebuds. Subtle character roles are played by American oak and a touch of mint. The texture is soft and fleshy. “An impressive bold style,” noted Sam Harrop. Try it with lamb chops dusted in herbes de Provence. (C)
