Grant Burge 5th Generation Shiraz 2016 (Barossa Valley, SA)

This wine represents terrific value, drawing praise from every judge on the Cuisine panel.  It has lovely intensity and a fascinating flavour profile with exotic spices such as turmeric and allspice in the mix, along with tamarillo and deep blue fruits. The tannins are long and even. A balanced, very satisfying drop.  (C)
