Orlando Lawson’s Padthaway Shiraz 2016 (South Australia)
This wine has held the years well: it’s alive and energetic with fragrant ripe fruits and red berry aromas. On the palate raspberries and blackberry leaf sit amongst spices and cloves which themselves are juxtaposed by sweet vanilla. A complex, rich and elegant wine with lovely relaxed tannins, supple acidity and fantastic length. (B)
