Spy Valley ENVOY Johnson Vineyard Marlborough Riesling 2011
This older wine is holding beautifully. The aromatics are toasty and dignified, while in the mouth there is a core of remarkably fresh lime-infused fruit. It’s medium-dry, the sweetness deftly balanced by crisp, tingling acidity. The panel felt there were plenty more years left in this well-crafted riesling.
