Envoy, Marlborough winery Spy Valley’s top label, is on-message. “This is the best example of this style with some age on it that I’ve tasted in a long time,” enthused John Belsham. It’s wonderfully rich, centred and spicy, with lime and mineral notes elegantly shrouded in toasty bottle-age characters. Serve it with a creamy blue cheese.
