Squawking Magpie The Gravels Syrah 2021 (Hawke’s Bay)
Youthfully coloured, this is a perfumed syrah with rich ripe fruit presence in the glass and on the nose and through the palate; toasty oak and mixed spice add complexity. The tannins are grainy yet smooth and the finish has a moreish lift of spice.
