This ever-reliable producer is the largest winery in the Clare Valley. It makes this wine from special parcels of fruit from different parts of the region. It’s quite rich and spicy, brimming with Christmas cake-like characters.  The tannins are well-defined and spritely and it finishes fresh. A good match for duck. (H)
