Vavasour Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012
A year on, this little herb-meister from the Awatere is looking in great form, mainly due to its good concentration and depth. Elegant smoky herb and citrus notes, and plenty of juiciness, figure strongly. Strong evidence the current vintage is not the last word in Marlborough sauvignon.
