Sharktooth ticks all the boxes for top-notch, traditional McLaren Vale shiraz. Ripe and complete, “warm but not quite porty”, according to John Belsham, it has plenty of fruit and oak in good balance. It’s powerful with well-sustained flavours, full body and superfine, ripe tannins underneath.
