Cable Bay Waiheke Island Syrah 2019
Racy, fun syrah with complex, spicy, earthy aromatics and fine, lighter tannins given a kiss of oak. Poised and elegant with a lean towards the red end of red-black fruit and just enough green peppercorn to give freshness. Not a blockbuster but plenty to think about and savour here.
