Shingleback The Gate Shiraz 2012
This is a McLaren Vale shiraz of great presence and juicy ripeness. Sumptuous, concentrated plum and spice-accented fruit is lifted by finely balanced acidity and ripe supporting tannins. The deep, layered fruit character makes it an admirable companion to a dish of slow-braised lamb.
