Yalumba The Octavius Old Vine Shiraz 2006
A warm, heady Barossa shiraz with lovely ripe, spicy fruit of rich concentration. Eight years of aged complexity adds dimension, as does well-measured oak. It’s a wine for hearty dishes such as braised oxtail – fleshy, full-bodied, yet fine in texture and super-long in flavour.
